Who it is for

Most small businesses invoice other businesses, and their invoices land in an accounts payable queue. The person processing them doesn’t know you; they need the invoice number, the due date and the amount quickly, and in the same place every time.

This template sets your logo and name as a centered letterhead and gathers the invoice facts into a ruled strip beneath it. The table is conventional (description, quantity, unit price, amount), so any bookkeeper recognizes it at a glance.

It suits shops, printers, caterers, wholesalers, studios and service businesses selling to other businesses: anyone who wants an invoice that looks established and gets processed without questions.

Questions

What makes an invoice look professional?

Consistency and clarity: the same layout every time, your details at the top, a unique number, clear dates and terms, items a client recognizes, correct totals, and how to pay. Typography helps; a busy design doesn’t.

Do I need a logo?

No. A clearly set business name works as a letterhead. If you have a logo, add it once in the generator and it appears on every invoice.

How should a small business number invoices?

In one unique sequence, never reusing a number. A prefix and year (INV-2026-0042) makes them easy to find. See how to number invoices.

Can I add my tax registration number?

Yes. Enter it in the Tax ID field and it prints with your business details.
